Staggered Arrangement Inputs

Columns n_x

The number of columns in a staggered connection.

Note that the fasteners are staggered and the number refers to the total number of columns. Hence inputting “2” for columns will result in only one fastener per row, “4” two fasteners per row and so on.

Rows n_y

The number of rows in a staggered connection.

Note that the fasteners are staggered. Odd rows start at the beginning of the connection, while even rows start at a distance equal to half the column spacing.

Column spacing a₁

The spacing of columns in a staggered connection, in mm.

Note that the fasteners are staggered. The column spacing refers to the distance between fasteners on the same row.

Row spacing a₂

The spacing of rows in a staggered connection, in mm.
